Rather impressed this time around. My food was oven hot and made exactly how I asked for it to be made. I had a shredded chicken burrito with beans and cheese and a side of sour cream. They also had my favorite drink, Jamaica, or AKA Hibiscus Tea! With a tip, lunch was under 20!
Great food and affordable. Portions are huge! For me, one burrito can last up to 3 meals! The breakfast burrito in the pic was 4.50 (breakfast special from 6-11am) and it is 9 inches long and about 4 or 5 inches in diameter!! Delicious!!
First time trying the food. You were recommended by a friend who told us your super nachos were absolutely delicious. She was right! Wife and I loved them! Also had your ground beef and steak tacos. They were very full tacos, not skimpy on the food at all! Wow. We both agreed, this place rocks! We like taco bell lol, this place puts taco bell all to shame and leaves them in the dust. Definitely will be returning. Ty
Made an order for my husband tonight and I am so happy with my experience. The gal who took my order was so kind and really went above and beyond for me. The service was fast, considering the size of my order was huge. Everyone who saw me greeted me, the place was clean, bathroom spotless. The mini carne asada tacos are delicious and we will definitely be repeat customers.
What a nice surprise!! Honestly, we chose California Mexican because it was 10 at night and nothing else was open, and we didn't expect much. The food was FANTASTIC., and BIG. I had a beef chimichanga and fried ice cream. Both were excellent and, again, huge. My one suggestion would be to distribute the meat and other ingredients more evenly throughout, my meat was mostly on one end. I think with some cosmetic changes outside and replacing the benches inside this could become a first choice destination instead of an "at least it's open" choice!
Delicious food at great prices. Great service, and being able to stop in late because they are open 24 hours was awesome. I was very impressed with the carnitas soft tacos, which taste good enough to be homemade. If I lived in Spokane rather than visiting family here, I'd eat at this place all the time. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
The food here is excellent and inexpensive. We had two chicken chimichangas combos and a side of chicken for my Lil chihuahua. The service was excellent and fast, with large portions. Our combos filled the to-go box, and the chimichangas were filled with chicken. They had a wide variety on the menu. We will be going back. Update- chicken fajitas and chicken chimichanga pictured
I grew up in SoCal and spent another 15years in NM...I have an affinity for Mexican food. So far in all of Washington I haven’t found a more legitimate Mexican restaurant owned and operated by great Hispanic family. We love to go as often as possible and everything on the menu is amazing
